Latina – olim palus – the plane and the hillside towns: is it possible investigating the paths they contributed to build the physical construction of the territory beyond the representation of the founding myth of redeemed lands?
The experience of immediate post-war reconstruction and the theme of neo-realism in architecture, the Ina-Casa season; the realizations by Brustolin, designer of the administration; the proposals to rehabilitate building and facilities in the historic centers since the early seventies are part of a layered and rich heritage still partly to be investigated.
Resting on the original myth of land reclamation and the new cities, there is a built territory, perceived through the different landscapes they make it up, signed by the past century events and whose achievements in public housing represent a substantial part.

On 29th of November 2009 – h. 17.30 – at the conference hall of the public theater in Latina, stARTT is pleased to invite you to the presentation of the research on public housing in the area, prepared for the publication of Ater Latina in the 70th anniversary of the institution.
