SIMONE CAPRA

Simone Capra graduated with honors in architecture from the University of “Roma Tre”. He received his PhD in architecture from the “IUAV” University Institute, “Villard D’Honnecourt” International Doctoral School. He is responsible for research and project development during the definition of the idea and for competitions. He undertakes the theoretical research of the studio through international conferences, workshops, and seminars.
Since 2015 he has been teaching architectural design at “Iowa State University”, Rome Program (College of Design, Department of Architecture).
Since 2016 he has been an Advisor for Landscape Architecture at the “American Academy of Rome” and since 2020 he has been an Advisor to the Jury of the Italian Architecture Award (promoted by MAXXI, Triennale di Milano and MiBACT).
Since 2022 he is Lecturer of Architecture “TU Wien Technische Universität”, Forschungsbereich Wohnbau (Institut fur Architektur).
