stARTT takes part to INNESTI / GRAFTING at Padiglione Italia – 14th International Architecture Exhibition of la Biennale di Venezia, directed by the architect Cino Zucchi:

“In INNESTI / GRAFTING Cino Zucchi start from the issue that the Italian architecture from the First World War to the present day shows an “anomalous modernity”, able to interpret and incorporate previous layers through continuous metamorphosis

INNESTI / GRAFTING is therefore a story of our best architecture from a new point of view. Ancient, recent and contemporary works are selected through the eyes of a botanist rather than of a historical, in order to reveal their capacity to join interpretation and innovation, existing matters and future shapes.

The exhibition continues with collages of architecture and the suggestive representation of a large contemporary landscape made by images of recent projects where architects from various generations have confronted with exacting contexts.”
